This teapot is crafted from clay mined in Seto, one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns. Utilizing local natural materials, the unique blue-green glaze creates a beautiful texture. The spout is designed for smooth flow and does not include a tea strainer. To prevent tea leaves from clogging, it is recommended to use tea bags.

Kashiwa Craft, founded by Hisayuki Iwatsuki in 1965, initially created animal motif figurines. In 2006, under Hisato Iwatsuki, the company continued its special blend of red clay and glaze, the casting method, and reduction firing. The brand's identity is centered around its unique casting method, clay variety, and glazes, creating a natural warmth and distinct texture.
