Updated with new, purpose-built software and a dedicated tea portafilter, Modbar Espresso systems can now brew tea with the same high precision and stability as they can with coffee, transforming a high-end semi-automatic espresso machine into a flexible multi-purpose brewing system. With an updated user interface, users can now program 4 distinct settings for both tea and coffee, allowing 2-group Espresso setups to brew tea and coffee beverages simultaneously (simply press or pull the brewing lever to activate each preset program). Additionally, the new tea software introduces tea steeping to the Modbar system. This automated process allows users to pre-soak their tea for optimal blooming and soak tea in up to 2 intervals to release the colors, essential oils, flavors, & characteristics unique to their teas. Moreover, the new Modbar tea portafilter allows users to fine-tune the flow rate of their brews by simply rotating the adjustable valve with a flathead screwdriver, ensuring teas are properly extracted regardless of type.
