UCCL Signature Blend: A comprehensive brew guide

The UCCL Signature Blend is Ultimate Coffee's longstanding flagship 100% Arabica nutty blend. With a distinctive hazelnut aroma, caramel flavor, and bittersweet chocolate finish, the Signature Blend is a pleasantly nuanced dark roast coffee. Thanks to a turbo roasting process, the blend harmonizes the strong aroma and potent body of dark roasts with subtle acidic undertones from the original coffee fruit, presenting a well-balanced and complex tasting experience.

In this brewing guide, we will show you how to bring out the Signature Blend's best characteristics in different coffee beverages.

Espresso Recipe:

  • Dosage: 17 grams
  • Temperature: 92 degrees Celsius
  • Yield: 40-50 ml (double shot)
  • Extraction time: 20-25 seconds

The result is a pleasantly balanced espresso that retains the rich aromas, crema, and characteristic flavors of the blend, while reducing bitterness from over-extraction.

Long Black Recipe:

  • Dosage: 17 grams
  • Temperature: 92 degrees Celsius
  • Yield: 25-30 ml (single shot)
  • Water: 75-80 degrees Celsius water at a 1:3 coffee-to-water ratio
  • Extraction time: 20-25 seconds

The result is a satisfyingly balanced drink that maintains the rich and aromatic flavor of the Signature Blend without the more concentrated/dense taste of an espresso.

Iced Americano Recipe:

  • Dosage: 17 grams
  • Temperature: 92 degrees Celsius
  • Yield: 35-40 ml (double shot)
  • Extraction time: 20-25 seconds
  • Ratio (Coffee-to-water): 1:3
  • Ice: 200ml
  • Total Beverage Volume (after ice): ~360 ml
